Darrell Converse is from Saugerties, New York and attended Cornell University where he acquired his Bachelor’s Degree in Atmospheric Science. He has 24+ years of providing meteorological and oceanographic services, from marine forecasting and optimum ship routing to performance claims and ship router training. An accredited Meteorologist (RMet) and Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society (FRMetS), Darrell has been with Fleetweather since November 2006 and is currently Duty Director on the Atlantic Orcas watch.
